The Reason This Congressman Walked Out On Obama’s Speech Is the Most Patriotic Thing You’ll Ever Hear!

Capture

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) walked out on President Obama’s State of the Union speech last night, and the reason will leave patriotic conservatives standing and cheering.

King: He took his oath of office twice on how to protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States and he’s done everything but, even when he knew he was wrong. I can’t abide being lectured to one last time. This is my last chance to step out of there. And I’m going to go to the member’s chapel and pray for the restoration of the Constitution.

Watch King’s comments below:

Via The Blaze:

Republican Rep. Steve King of Iowa stepped out of the House chamber where the State of the Union address was about to take place Tuesday, electing to pray in the members’ chapel during the speech due to President Barack Obama’s stance on abortion.

“I got into town last night and I just decided, I can’t do this again,” he said.

Obama’s grief for victims of shootings is fair, but it isn’t enough, King added.

“He did shed tears for the victims of Sandy Hook, and I think that’s appropriate,” he said. “But as far as we know, he’s never shed a tear for the millions of unborn babies that have been aborted since he took office. So I left my gallery seat empty, and my seat in the House chambers empty in commemoration of those who’ve never had a voice, not those who no longer have a voice, but those unborn babies who have never had a voice — and I’m going to the members’ chapel, where I’m going to spend my time there praying for the unborn, praying for the restoration of the Constitution and that God will raise up a leader whom he will use to restore the soul of America.”

No doubt the liberal media will blast King for his “disrespectful” actions, much like they did when Congressman Joe Wilson famously shouted “You lie!” during the President’s speech to a joint session of Congress.

But is there anything more disrespectful than what Obama has done to shred the Constitution during his seven years in office?

I completely support him. I turned off obama too. Couldn’t stand anymore. ’bout smashed the screen when he chided the Republican party…..”if you really want to win this war, you’re going to have to do more than …….” whatever he said; I kinda lost it. “YOU LYIN’, SON-OF-A …..!! YOU’RE THE ONE WHO KEEPS SWEARING, ‘NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND.’ ” I’m very disappointed that more people from both parties didn’t walk out also.
