Pastor Greg Locke of the Global Vision Bible Church located in Mount Juliet, TN, gave an epic rant against Target’s new bathroom policy that has gone viral.
Locke filmed this two-minute disagreement outside a Target store describing how he was skeptical when the media reported Target’s new bathroom policy and had to check for himself.
In the video, Locke said he walked up to a Target manager and asked about the story he had heard on TV and whether it was true or not. He said the clerk told him that people can now use the bathroom that they self-identify with (based on their gender identity) at that time. The manager’s answer accurately reflected Target’s position that was stated on the retail giant’s corporate website.
“That has to be one of the most ridiculous moves that I have ever heard of in my life,” Locke added.
There are a lot of Americans who feel like Pastor Locke and still can’t believe one of America’s largest franchises has decided to go down this road and create such a political statement and hurting it’s customers as a result.
Locke then stated on the video:
And, no, Target, I need no further information to know that you have lost your ever-loving mind. Are you kidding me? Your political correctness has caused you to do something extraordinarily stupid. You know why?
Because you’re not targeting and being inclusive to transgender people by doing this. They make up 0.3 percent of the population. What you are targeting are perverts, pedophiles, people that are going to harm our children.
That has to be one of the most ridiculous moves that I have ever heard of in my life
Watch the video here:
Target, as a private entity, has the right to run their business as they see fit (unlike the Christian businesses our government has put out of business). That said, I have the right to not spend one more dime of my money at any of their stores.
I wrote about the Target boycott just the other day, where over 500,000 loyal shoppers said they would stay away from the discount store. Now you know in this day in time boycotts are not like the 60s where everyone was on the same page when it came to shutting down businesses. Hopefully, these protesters are a lot more unified in their efforts.
Make the retail giant feel weight of their decision and hold them accountable is my solution.
