Someone Is Gaining on Trump in the Polls – Are You Surprised Who?

dt

Since entering the Presidential race, Donald Trump has maintained a monopoly on the media’s attention, and as a result has consistently maintained at the top of the pack in the polls. Until now.

For the first time in one of the four states holding nominating contests, Donald Trump has a new challenger in the polls: Ben Carson. To quote the details from AllenbWest.com:

Donald Trump and Ben Carson are tied for the lead in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa, according to a Monmouth University poll released on Monday.

The survey found Trump and Carson taking 23 percent support each.

It’s the first survey of Iowa released this month not to show Trump all alone in the lead, and further evidence of Carson’s polling strength.

What makes it interesting is that Trump’s former long-time advisor recently suggested that Trump pick Carson as his VP. Regardless of how this plays out, I can’t say I would mind to see a Trump/Carson 2016 ticket.

Who would you prefer as president, Donald Trump or Ben Carson? Let us know in the comments below.

I believe Carson’s numbers are overstated… but he’s a good man, I like him. I just don’t find him to be anywhere close to qualified to be President. Trump is the real deal, a strong, take no garbage leader with the know how and experience to take over and get the job done from day one. Carson would best serve society by staying in medicine, if he wants to be in politics, make him Surgeon General, I don’t even think he’s experienced enough to take on the Sec. of Health job… but he sounds good, Washington DC will eat him alive though.

Trump: Republican – Independent or Write-in

Ben Card N is not a good choice! I liked him until I found out that he keeps flip flopping on being anti gun or not and then in April he made not one, but THREE horrible statements. He said he and Al Sharpton share the same goals! Then he said Easter isn’t about Christ and then he said MUSLIMS and Christians are the same!!! Scares me to death he’s another Obama waiting to happen!!!! Google Ben Carson and Al Sharpton comments and read the TOWNHALL ARTICLE to see for yourself. There was also a video showing him saying this, but I didn’t save it and donbtchave the URL. A search should find it though. SO, NO TO BEN CARSON! IM FOR TED CRUZ!!!

There’s that too.. he’s all over the place on the 2nd Amendment which is a non-starter for me. The other stuff is just patronizing… PC correctness that I prefer my candidate get away from.
