The Star-Spangled Banner, As Sung By Marvin Gaye, Will Knock Your Socks Off

This month, we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Star-Spangled Banner. Written by Francis Scott Key and inspired by the flag outside of Fort McHenry in Baltimore, it is a beautiful song of American patriotism.

And perhaps no one could sing its challenging notes better than Marvin Gaye, with his soulful voice. Watch this classic (above). God Bless America!
