I had been boycotting Starbucks for a couple of years because of some things they were doing with race and I thought I would stop visiting them and purchasing their product as a show of solidarity with others.
Just as I started visiting Starbucks again, the CEO, Howard Schultz has decided to endorse Hillary Clinton for president. People, I didn’t need to know this. This isn’t something I need to hear from a coffee shop.
Why do these CEO`s feel the need to divulge who or what party they endorse? Worry about providing your customers with the best product that you can. Politics and business is always a recipe for polarization.
From Daily Mail:
‘I am optimistic and positive about the future of the country, and mainly because I have such faith in the American people.’
The self-described life-long Democrat also said Clinton has the ‘life experience and professional experience’ to become commander-in-chief.
Schultz also refused to rule out running for office himself one day during the interview.
When asked if he would consider running for president, the coffee mogul replied: ‘I’m still a young man… I would never say never, but this is not the right time.’
The Starbucks CEO had not endorsed a candidate before Wednesday. However he had still been outspoken during the campaign.
In February, he slammed the race, describing it as: ‘something none of us has ever seen before, which I would label as almost a circus of yelling bombastic attacks, of a lack of respect, of a lack of dignity.’
He needs to take his over-iced coffee and go sit the hell down because clearly he is challenged in some way. It is so clear that Hillary has no business running this country. She is above the law, she lies, she is a criminal who has not been held accountable for her actions and thinks very little of security.
How can all of this stuff be flashed in front of people and there are still people voting for her! Some people are voting for her ONLY because she is a woman! That’s crazy to me. Open your eyes people.
The more these people attempt to override my opinion the more desire I have for Trump.
I’m breaking up with Starbucks. I’m switching to Dunkin Donuts. Their coffee is just as good and so is their food. I hope this jerk likes the result of losing conservative customers. I guess he thinks supporting Trump would cost him the liberal business and since many of them don’t have jobs and use their food stamps to buy their coffee, he would lose less by alienating conservatives.
Starbucks is “obviously” no longer my choice for coffee.
Are you with me? Will you boycott them after the CEO endorsed Hillary? Share your opinions with me below and let me know what time we march (sarcasm).
