Target Thought Their Transgender Decision Was A Hit Until Protesters Did THIS!

Target has seen the last of me. If they want to write off business for this stupid political reason, that’s their choice. It’s also my choice to not go there as a result.

In a blog post last week, Target stated the company welcomes “transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

This is so unacceptable, and I come to that decision because I have two daughters. If I were to see a man walk into the bathroom after them, or a man dressed as a woman, I would have no other decision but to force him out until they were done. I don’t condone violence in any way but my daughters are under my care, and I will protect them at all costs.

The announcement comes as legislation on transgender issues in multiple states has spurred several major corporations and businesses to take a stance on LGBT rights.

From USA Today:

The petition started by the American Family Association on Wednesday raises concerns that Target’s inclusive stance on transgender rights encourages sexual predators and puts women and young girls in danger, because “a man can simply say he ‘feels like a woman today’ and enter the women’s restroom.”

The boycott has more than 517,000 signatures as of Monday afternoon, marking it as one of AFA’s most popular campaigns.

“This is the best response we’ve ever had this quick,” says AFA President Tim Wildmon, attributing the protest’s viral nature to the fact that “everybody knows who Target is, and it’s an easy-to-understand issue.”

Wildmon says Target stands “to lose a lot of customers who won’t come back.” But Target is standing by its policy.

“We certainly respect that there are a wide variety of perspectives and opinions,” says Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder. “As a company that firmly stands behind what it means to offer our team an inclusive place to work — and our guests an inclusive place to shop — we continue to believe that this is the right thing for Target.”

If Target had wanted to make things easier for transgender folks they could have put a Unisex sticker on the family restroom, thus preserving dignity and privacy for everyone. Deciding to jump in the political arena and alienate a huge number of loyal shoppers was not the brightest business decision. It’s pretty easy to let my money do the talking, and my feet do the walking. I’m tired of your drama Target.

Target will feel this in their proverbial wallet soon enough. That will be more than enough reason for them to do an about-face.

If you shop at Target will you continue after their decision on gender neutral bathrooms? Share your comments below and let us know what you think. Also, add this to your Facebook and Twitter page.

All of us are sexual. Be against a sexual name be against yourself. Devils are dumb. You will get into God’s kingdom according to how you are. Can’t people police themselves? Jesus did that.

If Target allows pedophiles in the same bathroom as your daughter and some atrocity happens to your daughter who is responsible? With a 5 million suit for each occurence Target will go broke fast.

Never will I darken the door of Target store the rest of my life. And I will encourage all family and friends to do the same. It’s disgusting that they are pandering to perverts.
