A school district in Texas is starting its school year with guns blazing, literally, with a new policy which allows teachers to carry firearms on campus.
These signs are posted at all Argyle Independent School District campuses:
Now criminals know that teachers and students are not defenseless on school campuses.
Teachers who carry must have a handgun license, pass a psychological evaluation, and take emergency response training.
Parents now have more peace of mind when sending their children to school. One parent stated:
“I think if a tragedy does occur, lives can be saved by guns being in the right hands, and I think the teachers here might be able to stop something like that and life can be saved,”
Is it time for other school districts to embrace the Second Amendment for the safety of the students?
