Every so often a story comes along that makes you think: huh, that don’t make a lick of sense!
This is one of those stories.
Meet Ozzie, a ginger cat found in Armagh, Northern Ireland, last week. Apparently abandoned, Cat Protection took him in, and discovered a microchip that he was fitted with… in Australia.
Even more amazing, Ozzie was born in 1989 – making him 25 years old. The average age cats reach is just 15. Oh, and according to the data in the chip, Ozzie once turned up in a shelter for stray cats in London, England, in 2004.
So… let me get this straight. This jet-hopping cat was born in England, lived in a stray cat shelter, then moved to Australia where someone (we presume his owners) took the time and money to fit him with a microchip. And then, at some point Ozzie came over to Northern Ireland.
My guess is he eats his owners. I mean, come on, look at those killer eyes:
