Knife Wielding Thug Tries to Rob Teen and His Mom… Then He Realizes Who He Messed With!

There comes a time when you are faced with taking that next step in manhood and this young man clearly passed that test.

Dunn

A 32-year-old scumbag got a taste of karma when he pulled a knife on a teenager and demanded money.

It happened on September 18th when Luther Dunn (pictured above) drew a knife on a 17-year-old named Nate.

Let’s just say… he chose poorly.

Nate was waiting in his mom, Kim Stewart’s, car while she picked up her paycheck when Dunn approached. Police say he first ran into the store but when he went outside again, Dunn approached menacingly.

So Nate opened the trunk of the car and grabbed a tire iron and gave Dunn more than he wanted, beating the assailant and then body slamming him to the ground.

According to Kim: “Nate picked him up, flipped him upside down and dropped him on his head. I thought he broke his neck.”

Dunn was taken into custody and transported to the hospital, where he was treated before being charged with attempted armed robbery, according to WTVT.

His arrest photo shows the aftermath of his encounter with the teenager.

“If he wouldn’t have brought the weapon, I wouldn’t have been worried about it, because he was just talking, but once he pulled out the weapon, I mean I didn’t have no choice,” Nate told ABC Action News.

  6. Dale says:

How unfortunate that the thug’s neck wasn’t broken. He’s probably learned a valuable lesson. Attack first, just don’t threaten. He is now just going to be a more dangerous criminal.

  7. Robert says:

It is obvious this guy had a chemical imbalance. That is why he helped him out with a little IRON. Now he might be thinking clearer.

  8. caliray says:

IMHO young Nate was within his rights to have sent Dunn to his reward with that tire iron. Nate was faced with deadly force and responded in kind. Good for you Nate.

  9. Ronald says:

When faced with lethal weapons, citizens, even minors, have a right to protect themselves, and a knife used by a person older, and apparently threatening would put anyone in fear for his life, so he was justified in whatever response he made. Give him a public service award.
