Trump’s Big News Out Of New York Will Have The Cruz Campaign Panicking!

My mom always told me if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all. Guess Sen. Ted Cruz never got that lesson as the “NY Values” dig he sent toward the GOP front-runner a month or so ago has come back to bite him hard.

The latest numbers out of New York show Trump with a commanding lead in the winner-take-most closed primary. There at 95 delegates at stake in this particular primary and Trump is poised to take a huge amount.

Everyone remembers Cruz making a mockery of the values of New York during an earlier GOP debate.

What was so funny about this clip is even Cruz ended up clapping at Trump’s response. Reportedly, Cruz is trying to woo New Yorkers now in a feeble attempt to repair bridges, but these new poll numbers show he’s got a lot of work to do.

From The Hill:

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump holds a commanding 36-point lead over his GOP rivals in his home state of New York, according to a poll released Thursday morning.

Trump has the support of 56 percent of likely Republican primary voters in the new Quinnipiac University poll. Ted Cruz and John Kasich trail with 20 percent and 19 percent, respectively.

Trump has the support of 63 percent of men in the Empire state and 48 percent of the state’s women in the poll. He also leads among Tea Party members and voters who identify themselves as conservatives and has the edge among Republicans of all ages.

When Cruz apologized to New York, he did so in a condescending way as he didn’t apologize for his statements, he used it as another attack on the state, and that won’t help mend fences.

These numbers have to be “golden” to Trump, who is behind according to the polls out of Wisconsin. But we do know Trump’s candidacy is not poll driven. His crowds and enthusiasm is not poll driven. Cruz’s candidacy now has the GOP establishment on his side. Trump’s presence has the establishment in deep shock which caused them to run to Cruz which Rush Limbaugh thought was what they should do to beat Trump from the beginning.
