Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon rocked the social media world declaring we might be better off with Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton as president. Remember, Sarandon is and has forever been a Clinton supporter, either with Hillary or with husband Bill. But this election cycle has changed many people.
Truth Revolt has the transcript:
Sarandon: Trump Might Be ‘Better’ Than Hillary
“I think, in certain quarters, there’s growing concern that the folks that are into Bernie Sanders have come to despise Hillary Clinton or reject Hillary Clinton and that should she be the nominee, which is as yet undetermined, they will walk away,” Hayes said.
“That’s a legitimate concern,” Sarandon responded. “Because they’re very passionate and principled.”
“But isn’t that crazy?” the host asked. “If you believe in what he believes in?”
“Yeah but she doesn’t,” Sarandon shot back. “She accepted money for all of those people. She doesn’t even want to fight for a $15 minimum wage. So these are people that have not come out before. So why would we think they’re going to come out now for her, you know?”
Hayes asked if the election came down to Hillary or Trump, would she support Hillary?
“I think Bernie would probably encourage people, because he doesn’t have any ego in this thing,” Sarandon replied. “But I think a lot of people are, ‘Sorry, I just can’t bring myself to [vote for Clinton].’”
“How about you personally?” Hayes asked.
“I don’t know. I’m going to see what happens,” Sarandon said.
“Really?” Hayes asked.
“Really,” Sarandon said, adding that “some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in, things will really explode.”Asked if that’s “dangerous,” she replied, “It’s dangerous to think that we can continue the way we are with the militarized police force, with privatized prisons, with the death penalty, with the low minimum wage, threats to women’s rights and think you can’t do something huge to turn that around.”

Twitter really hit Sarandon viciously when she made her comments, but like all Twitter warriors, they didn’t watch the segment. Check out what they had to say here:
Susan Sarandon epitomizes the privilege of those with the means to ride above the consequences of their scorched earth fantasy.

I'm biased, but I suspect a Trump election followed by revolutionary terror would be bad for Susan Sarandon as well as the rest of the world

To Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarandon fired back with a tweet of her own that said, “Of course I would never support Trump for any reason. If you watch the interview you’ll see that’s not what I said.”
Later, the star tweeted out “LOL” to the notion that she would vote for Trump.
LOL that I would ever vote Trump. https://t.co/pnENMgmbvm

Does it look like the pressure got to Sarandon that she had to fix it on social media before she was ripped to shreds? That’s how liberals do it every day and that’s one of the reasons our country is screwed up.
