Baseball great Curt Schilling was fired from ESPN yesterday after posting a transgender meme (above) on Facebook. Needless to say, the politically correct liberal crowd wasn’t happy with it and complained to ESPN.

I have two daughters. Both of them are 12 years old. If I ever see a man going into the bathroom dressed as a woman I’m going to go in there and make sure that he comes out very promptly.
Former vice presidential candidate and Donald Trump surrogate Sarah Palin came to the defense of Schilling on her Facebook page today, calling out ESPN for once again making another idiotic mistake.
She even posted this photo:
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin (left) blasted ESPN for firing Curt Schilling (right) after the game analyst shared an offensive meme mocking the debate over gendered restrooms. Earlier this week, Schilling, 49, reposted an image of an overweight man wearing a long blond wig and revealing women’s clothing.
It included the phrase: ‘Let him in! To the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to die!!!’Schilling, whose 20-year playing career ended in 2007, was apparently referring to laws in several states that restrict bathroom access to transgender people.
In defending Schilling, Palin shared a link to a Hollywood Reporter article on Facebook about his termination and wrote ‘ESPN continues to screw up.’ Her Facebook post also included a cartoon (pictured inset), which is along the lines of those that led to his firing and some might find offensive.
‘ESPN IS A JOURNALISTIC EMBARRASSMENT. ESPN – what happened to you? Your intolerant PC police are running amok and making a joke out of you!’
Only three reasons a man walks into a woman’s bathroom: an honest mistake, medical emergency, or in desperate need of being stomped into a puddle.
Why does the media push this ridiculous agenda? Since when did decency become wrong? Even though I have my reservations, my own opinions, LGBT people deserve to be treated like everyone else; that also includes being respectful of everyone else. Transgender is obviously a mental health issue.
Curt isn’t usually one to back down, and I hope he doesn’t. We need to retain a backbone in this country! Put away your opinions and protect our children. Good for Curt he nailed it.
