Trump Just Broke A HUGE Record And The Establishment Is FURIOUS!

Pennsylvania Republicans

Donald Trump had a big night during last yesterday’s 5 primary contests, and now the GOP frontrunner is about to break a record that will piss off the entire GOP establishment.

With his victories last night, Trump, passed Mitt Romney’s popular vote total in 2012, and the primary isn’t even over yet! Trump is likely to break the all-time primary vote record in a matter of weeks.

From Politico:

With his five blowout wins Tuesday night, Donald Trump has passed Mitt Romney’s popular vote total from four years ago and is on a trajectory that could land him more Republican votes than any presidential candidate in modern history – by a lot.

Trump surged to 9.9 million votes, according to totals that include Tuesday’s preliminary results across the northeast and could rise further as the final votes are counted. That’s already more than 100,000 more than Romney earned in the entire 2012 primary season and tens of thousands more than John McCain earned in 2008.

Trump is certain to pass McCain’s total next week in Indiana, but more importantly, he’s positioned to easily pass the modern record-holder George W. Bush — who collected 10.8 million votes in 2000.

That presents an uncomfortable reality for anti-Trump forces: they’re attempting to thwart the candidate who is likely to win more Republican primary votes than any GOP contender in at least the last 36 years, and maybe ever.

In an email to POLITICO, University of Minnesota political science professor (and Smart Politics blogger) Eric Ostermeier noted that only eight candidates have won more than 7.5 million Republican primary votes since the advent of the modern primary and caucus system. Ronald Reagan won about 7.7 million votes in 1980, the fewest other than George W. Bush’s 7.6 million in 2004, when he didn’t face a primary challenge.

George H. W. Bush clocked in at 8.2 million votes in 1988 and 9.2 million in 1992, while Bob Dole earned 8.4 million in 1996.

Even though Donald Trump continues to break records in terms of votes earned, the establishment is doing everything within their power to deny him the nomination. What are your thoughts on Trump’s victory last night? Share your thoughts below!

The establishment must be incredibly stupid not to recognize that the People are Pissed with the Inept Politicians.
Cruz and Trump should have apologized to each other months ago and united with One purpose in mind.
Whoever got the most delegates should be nominated for the President’s spot while the one with the second most delegates should be nominated for the VP spot.
A Trump/Cruz ticket would have crushed the RINO Cronies And Democrats.
Now Cruz just did Hillary a favor, the next mistake to be made by the RNC.
Will they cut off their noses to smite their faces to keep Trump from getting the Nod?
I wonder what is in the water in DC. Maybe the DC water supply is more contaminated than Flints.

Them more people bash & badmouth Trump, the more the people want him. Why can’t the idiots figure this out? Donald is just the kind of person that we need in the WH right now. He can’t be bought and he cares about America. Not one other politian in the country cares about anything but how to get more & more of our money & more & more control over “We The People” who are SUPPOSED to be their bosses. WE pay THEIR salary people. Donald Trump is for real; get used to it folks. He is uncovering so many illegal acts by our “leaders” that they are scared to death of him. I hope to see the lot of them serve prison time…..

    1. Carlos says:

You are so right Marty. The feel they are better than those that put them in Office. It is our fault for believing there lies. Remember they gave them self a pay raise to an unknown and we received nothing. This occurred twice. They are mostly Lawyers and you know how crocked they are, just like a snake.

  3. Glen says:

Trump is doing this because he tells the TRUTH. It’s as SIMPLE as that. WE are tired of being LIED to and manipulated. Trump talks straight to WE THE PEOPLE. He does NOT talk at us, he talks TO us like a NORMAL human being, not like a LIEING SLICK UNDERHANDED POLITICIAN. For all you genius TV commentators and Party bosses, THAT is why Trump is doing what he is doing. I know it’s too hard for you to figure that out because you ALL think that LIEING is acceptable. To HELL with what you think. We FINALLY have a genuine AMERICAN running for President and YOU can’t stand it !!!

Just Great Trump— I for one can’t stand the establishment and I’m glad that they are pissed off. After finding out all the crap that the BIG GOP establishment has done to all of us . Right at the moment they better keep their damn BIG mouths shut. There are a few that I trust —-the rest can go live somewhere else —–not in this country.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Carlos says:

GREAT TRUMP!!! Keep it up. Vote Trump, Vote Trump.

  6. Jerry says:

Love it, join the Trump Train. You don’t have to see a Lion hunt, you just know he can.

  7. Robert says:

WELL: The people are tired of the career POLITICIANS like CRUZ,KASICH and all of the others that think all they have to do is tell the people what they want to hear then do as they wish and to HELL with the people. TRUMP is not a POLITICIAN he is a businessman who worked for and earned what he has and the people want a working man as president not a VACATIONING GOLFER who is against the people and for MUSLIM INDOCTRINATION.!!

  8. Pat says:

This should tell the GOP time to stop the negativity and get behind the people’s choice.

  9. Michael says:

If the established Republican Party is upset over Mr. Trump’s winning, they can only blame their self. How many times have Americans heard their promises, then watch them vote the opposite? The elite politicians can not be trusted on both sides of the isle. I am not a fan of Mr. Trump, but I can understand why he is winning, America wants a outsider.

  10. Kbuzz says:

Lets be fair. With the increase in population growth, more people will be voting. Now if the % of registered voters is the factor, and that goes up, then were talking. Nevertheless, Donald is kicking butt because the voters are coming out – and despite what the GOP and MSM is spinning, Donald is the reason they are coming out – and they are voting for him.

  11. Melanie says:

I am so happy Trump is ticking off the “Establishment”!!!! Time to take out the trash with Obama, like McClain, Graham, McConnell and all the old farts with 20 years in. Congress was never meant to be a life time job/career. It was suppose to be a citizens government! Go do your job and go home to the community from which you were elected.
