Hillary Clinton voted for the pointless war that killed the Khirz Khan’s son while Trump asked a legitimate question. No reason for Donald Trump to regret anything, and I stand behind him on this one.
If you really want me to get serious about the situation, Khan’s son was not a Muslim hero. He was an American soldier. Second Trump never said anything about American Muslims. Trump asked the question why didn’t the wife speak on stage and the media thought that was an attack. What a load of children with thin skins.
From The Hill:
Republican nominee Donald Trump on Tuesday said he doesn’t regret the comments he made toward the family of Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim American killed in Iraq.
“I don’t regret anything,” Trump said in an interview with ABC7.
“I said nice things about the son and I feel that very strongly but of course I was hit very hard from the stage and you know it’s just one of those things but no I don’t regret anything.”
Khizr Khan, the father of Humayun Khan, spoke critically of Trump last week at the Democratic National Convention. In his speech, the elder Khan asked if Trump had read the Constitution and said the GOP nominee had sacrificed nothing.
In response, Trump criticized Khan and questioned why his wife did not speak at the convention, too, suggesting it had something to do with her religion.
He also noted the sacrifices he’s made in his business career and said Khizr Khan had no right to question his views on the Constitution.
Trump’s issue was immigration of Muslims from radical Nations that have a high risk of terrorist attacks throughout the world.
