It’s certainly hard to beat somebody like Hank Johnson, a Georgia Democrat who once feared that budget cuts would create a “world without balloons,” and who openly wondered if Guam could somehow capsize and tip over, but Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is giving him a run for his money.
Even though Common Core math has been dumbing down our children, I tend to think that even a 1st grader could figure out what is wrong with this tweet (H/T Weasel Zippers).
Three things so evil that there are actually four of them. What kind of world do we live in?
But if we’re going to address the dumbest person in Congress, we have to include a body of work.
Something like using the wrong Confederate flag when debating the alleged evils of the Confederate flag on the House floor.
Or inventing the non-existent countries of North and South Vietnam.
Perhaps somebody who believes the Constitution is 400 years old?
Or maybe even like asking if pictures had been taken of the flag that Neil Armstrong planted… on Mars… while serving as a member of the House Science Committee.
It’s a close race between Johnson and Lee, but I’m sure there’s plenty more to come from the duo.
Comment: Who do you think is the dumbest person in Congress?
