President Obama gave a speech on veteran’s issues and the Iran nuclear deal to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Pittsburgh yesterday. One veteran in attendance had something to say to the President.
The veteran held a sign reminding those in the attendance of the White House’s failures in the Benghazi attacks that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Others were displeased with his sign. They pulled and pushed the elderly veteran down and grabbed the sign from him.
It is unsure whether the President saw the veteran being manhandled. It’s ironic that as Obama spoke about honoring soldiers’ service, one of them was being tossed to the ground because he was holding a sign. Clearly, the situation could have been handled better.
If you wanted to send a message to the President, what would your sign say? Please comment below.
