Want a TRUE Anti-Liberal for President? Here’s Who Limbaugh Says You Must Vote For

Responding to a question posed by a caller, radio host Rush Limbaugh revealed the presidential candidate who is “most steadfastly opposed to liberalism.” It wasn’t Donald Trump, Ben Carson, or Carly Fiorina, the three leading contenders in the GOP race for the presidency.

No, the one candidate most opposed to liberalism is… Ted Cruz.

“Out of all the conservative candidates that we have,” a caller identified as Roberto began, “Which do you think is the most hostile and intolerant toward liberalism?”

Rush began by saying he’d alter the words ‘hostile’ and ‘intolerant’ because they weren’t descriptive of the person he was about to describe.

He continued:

You really want to know who among other candidates is most anti-liberal, is the most opposed to liberalism as part of his existence, policy and everything else? And there’s one clear answer. Put your hand up if you know who it is. Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz is the answer to your question, Roberto. If you’re looking for the Republican candidate who is the most steadfastly opposed to liberalism, whose agenda is oriented toward stopping it and thwarting it and defeating it, it is Ted Cruz.

Listen to Limbaugh’s comments below…

Cruz also got an endorsement for his conservative credentials by another famous radio host – Mark Levin.

“I like Ted Cruz a lot,” Levin said. “Ted Cruz is the most conservative candidate running. He’s the most consistent conservative candidate running.”

Comment: Which candidate do you think is the most conservative and/or anti-liberal?

  1. Mary says:

Right or wrong, I wouldn’t vote for anyone born in another country besides the USA. Cruz was born in Canada! How does he actually qualify?

    1. Kim says:

Mary, according to the current policy manual on citizenship, “In addition, persons who are born outside of the United States may be U.S. citizens at birth if one or both parents were U.S. citizens at their time of birth.” This was the case for Sen. Cruz.

    2. Laura says:

Mary, It is truly scary to know that you posted such a question without researching it. How old are you? It is common knowledge that if one or both parents of a child born outside the US are American citizens, then the child is automatically a citizen, no matter what country it is born in. Cruz’s father was Cuban and his mother was American. Cruz had dual American-Canadian citizenship (not an uncommon occurrence) and renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2013. Therefore, he IS a natural born citizen of the United States of America and eligible to be the President of the United States.
