It’s something we’ve probably all wanted to give to politicians at one point or another. And, especially in this political climate where conservatives are being drowned out not only by liberals, but also establishment Republicans.
The middle finger.
Political editor for Townhall.com, Guy Benson, told the folks at Fox and Friends that this is exactly what Donald Trump’s campaign is – a giant middle finger to the political class in D.C.
After analyzing the success of candidates such as Trump, Ben Carson, and Carly Fiorina, host Steve Doocy pointed out that they all share one trait – they’re all outsiders.
Benson went on to explain that all of these negative quotes coming from political insiders in D.C. are signs that Trump’s middle finger message is winning.
“You read all the quotes from these insiders and you say, hey, guys, scoreboard, we’re winning, we’re winning big.”
“I think it’s a little silly to be completely writing off the guy’s chances. He’s leading by double digits.”
