A little over a week ago, Glenn Beck endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. This wasn’t unexpected as many of us knew Beck backed Cruz with the Keep the Promise SuperPAC that his Mercury One Partner is the chairman of.
During an event in Iowa last week, Beck had this to say about Cruz:
“I’m taking a very big risk here and gambling on it, but this is how much I believe in Ted Cruz,” Beck said at a Cruz rally in Ankeny, Iowa.
“I’d like you to hold onto that,” he said, passing Cruz the compass, “to make sure your compass is square and you stay true” to your values.
Beck said he had never endorsed a presidential candidate in his 40 years of broadcasting, but he made an exception because of the urgency of the moment.
What we found over the weekend was a discovery nobody remembers but could be damaging to Cruz if it picks up steam. Beck just a few years ago praised Trump for his economic prowess and how he gets the job done. He even said Trump would be a great choice to fix this country.
“Donald Trump, look, here’s a guy who I really respect. Here’s a guy who gets things done in New York. You want to have someone fix our country, Donald Trump is a guy who can economically fix our country”
That’s a stark contrast to associating him with Hitler as he regularly does now.
As for Glenn Beck, his ratings are falling, his emotional health is deteriorating, and soon he’ll be interrupting Bingo at the Shady Grove Retirement Center with a prediction of doom for the elderly people. I’m a Christian, but I have an issue with Cruz and it’s not leaving anytime soon.. Does he have real Faith, or is he trying to play us? It’s not my place to decide that.
