Watch: Member of Parliament Skips Vote Because… Underpants Are Too Tight!?

Next time you are late for an important meeting, feel free borrow Canadian MP Pat Martin’s excuse.

The Member of Parliament was not in his seat for a crucial vote, and when asked by an opponent for an explanation, replied by claiming his underpants were too tight.

The constricting garment — purchased on sale from a department store — were a couple of sizes too small and thus prevented Martin from “sitting for long periods.”
