Clark Fredericks, 49, in court last week confessed to brutally murdering his former scout master, Dennis Pegg, in 2012.
Fredericks claims that Pegg molested and raped him for years as a young boy. He claims the man tortured him and threatened him in order to keep him quiet.
Decades later, the frustration finally came full circle and Fredericks brutally killed Pegg by stabbing him dozens of times and ultimately slitting his throat.
Fredericks described the crime in detail during the confession, which he was making as part of a plea deal for the lesser charge of manslaughter. However, Fredericks never issued an apology or any remorse.
According to CBS NY:
“From the time I was 8 years old until I was 12 years old, I was sexually assaulted and raped by Dennis Pegg,” Fredericks said in the Sussex County courtroom.
“It started with him wanting to touch my scar that I had through open-heart surgery at the age of 6,” Fredericks said. “It progressed to wrestling matches and eventually led to him raping me.”
As Fredericks left the courtroom, the gallery erupted in applause as friends, family and observers showed their support for the actions taken by Fredericks.
