What This Police Officer Did When He Found a Lifeless Infant Is Incredible!

Capture

With all the negative coverage of police officers being put out there by the liberal media, we thought it’d be nice to share this amazing story of heroism.

An officer in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was recently caught on video saving the life of an infant by performing CPR in front of her terrified family.

Officer Martin Smith responded to a call and found a 7-month-old baby girl who was unresponsive. The family had no answers, as she was not breathing or moving.

Smith quickly took action, performing CPR on the child, who began breathing on her own shortly thereafter.

Via ABC News:

Within moments, the baby responds and begins breathing on her own as Smith is overheard saying on the video, “There she is, she’s good. She’s good.”

“The officer continued to help the family remain calm while holding and talking to the baby until paramedics arrived,” the department wrote in a Facebook post.

Smith told ABC News affiliate KOAT-TV on Tuesday that his actions were second nature, something he learned a long time ago.

Thank God for that Officer and his ability to stay calm and go right to the training he’s had. It’s been too easy for people to forget the wonderful men and women in uniform out there everyday. The bravery they show by going back out there after all the murders of their fellow officers all over the Country recently makes me damn grateful! Thanks, Headline, for posting this.
