It’s only months until Barack Obama leaves office, and his legacy is something that will be discussed for decades to come.
And it’s one hell of a legacy. Record high poverty and rates of government dependency. Skyrocketing healthcare premiums and deductables. A record low labor force participation rate. The first president to only have a single quarter where economic growth was greater than 3%. The rise of ISIS and resurgence of the Taliban in the middle east. And to top it off, we only had to rack up a national debt of over $20 trillion to fund all his “accomplishments.” What a deal!
The American public realize that his administration has been a failure, and who does he blame? You’re bound to get a laugh out of this.
When asking if he still thought America was a progressive country in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he replied:
Part of the challenge, though, that we do have, and this is something that I’ve been chewing on for a while now, is that there is a cohort of working-class white voters that voted for me in sizable numbers, but that we’ve had trouble getting to vote for Democrats in midterm elections. In this election, [they] turned out in huge numbers for Trump. And I think that part of it has to do with our inability, our failure, to reach those voters effectively. Part of it is Fox News in every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country, but part of it is also Democrats not working at a grassroots level, being in there, showing up, making arguments.
Yes – how dare Fox News report the facts and persuade people that it’s time to vote Republican for a change.
On another note, does Obama actually think a single person is paying attention to the news if its on at a bar or restaurant? Let’s get real here…
