Presidential candidate Donald Trump was confronted by a portly heckler during a campaign rally Wednesday, and the man quickly regretted his decision to take on the real estate mogul.
The heckler interrupted Trump after mentioning that our country now has a record number of people on food stamps.
While quickly being escorted away, the crowd started chanting for their Republican candidate to drown him out.
To Trump’s credit, he didn’t miss a beat and delivered a brutal blow with this insult:
“You know, it’s amazing, I mention food stamps and that guy who’s seriously overweight just starts going crazy.”
Watch the epic exchange below …
Trump wasn’t done there.
After mentioning that the media would probably only cover the hecklers at his campaign events, as opposed to the thousands in attendance, Trump took another shot at the unseemly liberal.
Via the Daily Caller:
“Isn’t a Trump rally much more exciting than these other guys?” Trump said after the second heckler was rushed out. After the third, he made a joke at the media’s expense, predicting they would focus on the wave of hecklers instead of his crowd of supporters.
“We had 12,000 people, and they’re gonna take three people and say ‘Oh, the protests were unbelievable,’” he said, then taking another chance to mock the third heckler’s weight. “Three people! They weren’t even in a group, cuz who the Hell wants to be with a guy like that, to be in a group? Seriously. Who wants to be with him? Nobody. Nobody. Nobody will have him. Nobody.”
Trump isn’t taking any flak from anybody, whether it be his fellow Republicans, members of the media, or some random dweeb who decided to interrupt his speech.
And people are loving it.
Comment: Did Trump go too far with his joke about the heckler, or is it just another thing to love about the guy? Tell us what you think?
