You’ll Never Believe the Mode of Transportation Used to Lead Police on a Mile-Long Chase!

Some men just want to watch the world burn…

A man riding a motorized wheelchair led police on a VERY low-speed chase in Elyria, Ohio while smoking a cigarette and giving a thumbs up to people as he passed.

This man wasn’t thinking of his safety nor the safety of the drivers as he drove his motorized scooter into oncoming traffic and made several other evasive maneuvers during a mile-long pursuit, but I am glad he wasn’t hurt and police were able to apprehend him before something terrible happened.

According to New York Daily News:

“I told you to stop back there and you said ‘No,’” one arresting officer can be heard telling Ley.

Ley was charged with Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Official Business, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage and Failure to Comply.

Luckily, police were able to swarm the criminal mastermind and surround his escape route.

  1. Doc says:

Was he in the wrong? Yes. Was he crotchety and irritable? Yes. Was he gonna do what the hell HE wanted and screw the rest of those young whippersnappers? Yes.

    My hero…
